About Stephens Green Hibernian Club
Born from the Union Club and founded in 1840 by some of the brightest liberal minds of the time, including Daniel O'Connell and three of his four sons, The Stephen's Green Hibernian Club has been a home from home for successive generations.

The magnificent townhouse has provided a stimulating atmosphere for the members in which sports and lively debate have been the cornerstones.
The house itself has just undergone a massive renovation project which returned it to its' former elegance and glory bringing the rococo interiors back to life and adding some modern amenities such as a new lift to enable easy access to all the floors of the house.

The newly refurbished Bedrooms occupy the top two floors of the house and offer incomparable views of St Stephen's Green. The bedrooms are available to members, their guests and reciprocal members.
