Terms and Conditions of Sale
Thank you for taking the time to browse through our website, and allow us to present Horizon Speakers and Seminars to you. By booking an event, seminar or training day with us or purchasing a product, you acknowledge that you have read our Terms and Conditions (available at www.horizonspeakers.com/terms) and you agree that the placement of that Order, together with these Terms and Conditions, forms a contract between you and us.
Terms of Sale/Jurisdictions:
Any contract for sale of services between Horizon Speakers and Seminars and yourself will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with Irish Law, and you and Horizon Speakers and Seminars irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts. Tickets and Products purchased on this website remain the property of Horizon Speakers and Seminars until payment in full has been received by Horizon Speakers and Seminars.
Secure Payment Processing:
We use Amiando payment gateway, a secure payment solution provided by Amiando GmbH as well as Elavon credit card terminal for offline transactions to process credit card payments. Information you enter is encrypted and passes through a Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Credit card information is not stored by Horizon Speakers and Seminars at any stage in the process and all our secure checkout and payment suppliers are compliant with PCI Data Security Standards.

Horizon Speakers and Seminars do not engage in or support in any way, “Spam” or any other bulk mailing, electronic or postal and information entered by you, the user, will not be shared with or passed onto any third party.
Any correspondence you receive from Horizon Speakers and Seminars will be in relation to orders placed with us or to inform existing customers on events, company developments and content we feel may be of benefit to you.
Education and training seminars are usually VAT free.
Personal development events and seminars may incur VAT.
Product orders outside the EU may be subject to local tax.
Delivery (Tickets and Products):
Upon completed purchase of a ticket from our website, you will automatically receive an electronic ticket & invoice to the email provided by you during the payment process. We always have a registration desk and registration list at each event, seminar or training day confirming your booking. You are required to provide a print of your electronic ticket at our registration desk on the day of your attendance. For bookings made over the phone, we recommend that you bring a copy of your email booking confirmation.
Any products (CDs, Book, DVDs etc) purchased via this website will be delivered to you within 7-10 business days via AnPost. Should you for some reason not have received your product purchase within this timeframe please contact our office and we will investigate further.
Refund Policy (Events, Seminars and Training):
From the date that you make the initial deposit or payment to attend an event, seminar or training day we begin planning for your attendance and incur costs accordingly. Some events and seminars may be planned up to twelve months before the event. Our policy regarding refunds understandably reflects this, with the following explanations.
Refunds will be given** up to 7 days after date of purchase. Absolutely no refunds will be given after 7 days from the purchase date, on the day of or after an event, seminar or training day.
A refund/cancellation fee is payable upon cancellation as follows:
A €5 flat fee plus 8.5% of the ticket price is applied to cover administration and system charges.
Refund requests will be processed within 14 days by our payment gateway provider Amiando. (See Amiando T&Cs here.)
**Please note: refunds are not applicable to any discounted tickets or special offers such as early bird rate, promotional coupons, special offers, etc. Refunds will be issued only for full price tickets purchased.
Refunds due to illness or bereavement are at the discretion of Horizon Speakers and Seminars.
In the event of an event, seminar or training day being cancelled by Horizon Speakers and Seminars due to unforeseen circumstances, we will make every effort to reschedule the event, seminar or training and your booking will remain valid. Should the event, seminar or training day not be rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe you will have the option of either a refund or credit.
If you don’t attend you will forfeit your money, or you can transfer your ticket to someone else. But you must notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org no sooner than 28 days of the date of the event/seminar/training day. You need to provide us with this person’s full name, address, phone numbers, email address, and you must have signed and dated the letter of authority for the ownership of your ticket to be transferred to the new attendee. Remember, we have already accounted for your attendance in our expenditure so it is not possible to either obtain a refund, or have the funds paid held in credit for another event.
Returns Policy (Products):
Product returns will be accepted within 60 days of the date of purchase of a product (e.g. CD, DVD, Book etc). You must provide a valid proof of purchase and the product must be returned in good condition. Please send product returns to the following address:

Once your return is received by Horizon Speakers & Seminars, you’ll receive your refund in 7 to 10 business days. We recommend that you contact us at email@example.com to confirm return of your item. This will help us process your return more speedily.
